Street Style: Day 1 LFW
As the shows kick off, we took to the streets of London Fashion week to see what the show goers are sporting this season.
From spotting (and becoming even more obsessed with) Erin O'Connor, to Vogue Cover girls Adwoa Aboah and Arizona Muse, the streets were abuzz with fabulous fashion on day 1 at LFW, here's some of the things that we spotted.
One of the first things we noticed in their masses were classic Chanel bags. From the large classic quilted option in an array of colours, to updated chevrons and top handle totes, they were everywhere and showed us the power of the classic. Noht to self: they look just as chic when they're a bit worn.
You don't have to be a genius to predict that you might see some of the now iconic Dior shades, but this season we saw every type of sunglasses. From Matrix style 90's glasses in their masses (worn purely for effect perched on the bridge of the nose) to statement perspex a la Erin, they were every wear and we're on the hunt for chic ones for next season.
The kitten heel reigned supreme this season with the logo-emblazoned Diors making a return on a few and embellished options seen on many other show-goers. The satin pom-pom heels we spotted have had us thinking of pretty shoes ever since.
twist on trench
The trench coat, as it does every season, made a glorious return on both the ladies and gents. The gents options remained classic whilst the ladies took any and every form with embellished details, interesting cut out details and updated cuts. We're loving the Calvin Klein one which will carry you right through to summer.
